Ms. Dayna Nobile - Middle Level Social Studies/Language Arts/Technology

Dayna first began her love for Catholic education while attending Mercy High School in Middletown, CT. She then received a parish scholarship to attend the Catholic University of America where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in Communications/Media Studies. She has completed graduate coursework in educational leadership and curriculum planning at Central Connecticut State University. Before moving to Vermont and joining St. Michael's School, Dayna spent five years as a Pre-Primary teacher at the Newton Montessori School in Newton, MA.  In addition to her classroom responsibilities, Dayna served on the Leadership and Diversity Committees, and was director of the NMS Summer Program. Before joining NMS, she worked as a head teacher in a two-year-old classroom in Connecticut and volunteered at a residential treatment center for teens. Her experience with children extends far beyond the classroom--she is "Auntie Dayna" to 12 nieces and nephews, as well as to many younger cousins. When not in the classroom, she enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with friends and family. On winter weekends, you'll most likely find her skiing at Mount Snow.
